Hospitality has a harder brief than a house: the room has to seat covers, move staff, take punishment and still feel like somewhere you would choose to sit. Planning comes first, atmosphere comes second, and both have to survive a Saturday night.
Materials were specified for wear as well as looks, and the lighting scheme was built to shift from daytime trade to evening service without rewiring the mood.
